High School Freshman turning intoa sophmore?
explosion drills. jumping up onto an eighteen inch box or the bottom seats of bleachers doing 10 reps, with 30 second rests and doing it again, perhaps 5 sets will help with that. run sprints, kareoke and dot drills. work on foot speed with that. I'm sure you did dot drills as a freshman, and they are very valuable. PLF stretches, where you stretch and hold it for 15 seconds, relax and force the stretch a second rep, stretching farther than you did before. My sons use of these drills and being in Karate have helped him excell as a lineman on the high school level. hope this helps.
