My computer says no bootable device?

Make sure your hard drive connectors are seated properly. If that doesn't fix it, make sure your bios is set to boot to the CD drive as first boot device. If no go, your hard drive is defunct and you will need a new one. You will then need to set the bios to boot from CD/DVD as first boot device and reinstall your operating system
