THIS IS MY COLLEGE APPLICATION ESSAY, IS IT READY TO BE SENT TO COLLEGES?

Oh my GOD your ego is enormous! It would be the biggest surprise of my life if any great college accepted you with that essay/attitude. I'm sorry if that's a harsh way to break it to you, but... try looking at this from a different angle. Put yourself in an admissions officer's shoes. You have just spent the entire day reading prospective students' essays and deciding whether or not each applicant (keep in mind that top notch colleges have THOUSANDS of applicants) would enjoy/be enjoyed at Columbia, UC Berkley, Harvard, Georgetown, or whichever school it is you work for. Now step back into your own shoes. Would you accept yourself? If you answer that question with an unbiased response, probably not. Nobody wants to hear somebody brag about him or herself. These people are not going to take a chance on you if you can't even refrain from doing that in a 450 word essay. I'm sorry, bit it's true. Try taking a cl specializing on the writing of college essays. I am planning on taking one at the end of the summer with my English teacher. Good luck to you!
