Is the remington scirocco 180grain 30-06 good for deer?

If you insist to use the 30-06 load her up heavy. Use 220 grain soft points or something like that. Nosler partition bullets kill almost everything you hit with them, if you hit them in the right place that is. The heavy bellet will travel slower, therefore causing LESS damage than a smaller faster slug. Overkill for sure, but you will find the best result in that close and brushy stuff with the heaviest slug you can use. J
