These dreams simply mean that you are bored with the relationship, but you are not consciously willing to admit it because the guy is so good to you and for you. You know you will feel guilty if you break up with him permanently, and you don't want to hurt him, but at this point you want to explore life without him. Still, you want the security of the relationship while you take this exploration. Not doable. You know this, so you are faced with either breaking up or remaining in the relationship and remaining bored. This is like marriage. People think you stay "in love" have the hots for each other forever, etcetera. But that is not the case. Love deepens into a shared, strong bond where romance flits in an out on occasions, but mostly life is taking you for a ride and you are hanging on as best you can, so the romance is on the back burner. Go inward and try to determine what you really want. Stepping out of such a great relationship could be catastrophic. In many ways, you have been truly blessed. Do you want to step out there and spend time with a jerk, and then another jerk, while this great guy goes off and marries someone else? Think about things before leaping.
