Nerve damage from hernia surgery?

It takes a LONG time for you to feel completely back to normal after that kind of surgery. I had it 6 years ago and I can still sometimes feel it, not bad or anything, but can still feel the effects. It's brutal surgery, and next time if I have to have it again will do the laproscopic (sp) instead. See your doctor, they can probably help with the pain in some way.
