Yes i have the game Ratchet & Clank Up Your Arsenal for ps2 and am having a major problem?

Yes i have and had bought about a week ago this ps2 game Ratchet & Clank Up Your Arsenal brand new off of Amazon.com. However--and i don't know if this is the problem or what---the disc does have 2 minor scratches(seemingly unremovable) on it. But the problem is..the game freezes now in the middle of gameplay. What do i do?
